Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

This freeze happens periodically (several times a day) and it does not by itself unfreeze, i have to use evolution --force-shutdown from command line and then restart evolution. This particular time it happened when I tried to sort my e-mails per subject and then select some of them.

I have my lucid system updated to present time. Running it on a 1.73 Ghz Centrino processor with 1.5 GB RAM which normally copes with things quite rapidly.

the imap issue is a known one and being tracked on bug 175233 haven't seeing it with pop though.

I have this problem as well using POP.
Very repeatable and only when trying to deal with one particualr piece of mail.
I've sent in a bug with title" Evolution hangs or greys out." which should have an apport report attached.
Thanks
