LP: #571415 should be forwarded to Debian gcc-warnings. patch should be forwarded upstream (although the patch doesn't actually do anything with the return values, which is bad).

07-fix-
I don't like this:
mkdir /var/lock/vtund || exit 0
That would stop you from being able to "invoke-rc.d vtun start; invoke-rc.d vtun stop". It's a pretty serious bug, really.
