system lockup within minutes when running flash video

Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Second clean install of 10.10 same problem ------system lockup when running flash . Sometimes occurs just as I click onto a flash site -------other times after two to five min. Consistent problem rendering 10.10 unusable on this machine . Other OS on flash drives have no issues .
I run video display on a second monitor -----laptop monitor shut off . On lockup this monitor goes black and the laptop comes on -------

Thank you for reporting this bug and helping to improve Ubuntu. Could you please input 'lspci | grep VGA' in the terminal and paste the output here. Also, does this always happen with flash, does it only happen on pages with flash or does it happen other times as well.
