Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

I did an upgrading from ubuntu 9.10 to 10.04 and I notice that my desktop enviroment was different, and application named gdesklets didn't work anymore.

So I discover this

Sist. Arq. Tam Usad Disp Uso% Montado em
/dev/sda5 14G 6,1G 7,0G 47% /
none 999M 328K 999M 1% /dev
none 1003M 296K 1003M 1% /dev/shm
none 1003M 332K 1003M 1% /var/run
none 1003M 0 1003M 0% /var/lock
none 1003M 0 1003M 0% /lib/init/rw
none 14G 6,1G 7,0G 47% /var/lib/ureadahead/debugfs
/dev/sda6 49G 12G 35G 25% /home

Parts of my computer's disk lost the partition.

I guess I'll try to reinstall from a disk.

Thank you for your report, however I don't believe I see the connection between gdesklets failing and your output from df. What makes you say partitions are missing? Please post the output of
   sudo fdisk -l
That will show your drives and partitions.

That's the answer, and it's in portuguese, it means that it wasnt possible
to open /dev/sda.

dinho@dinho-desktop:~$ fdisk -l /dev/sda
Não foi possível abrir /dev/sda
