I have also experienced this when surfing with firefox. I guess the relevant lines in my messages log are:

I don't know if this is the consequence of Firefox killing the xsession (or dbus). I have attatched my syslog so you can see what happened around 08:47.

This bug has nothing to do with PulseAudio, although PulseAudio is logging that something deeper in the software stack malfunctioned. Are you certain there is not a sound driver issue?

I'm having the same issue. It's happened more than once. I just recently installed 10.10 amd64 as well. I've pasted the lines from kernel messages below. The last message was 2 hours before this happen so I am able to completely isolate the messages related to this.
