Bug Description

Binary package hint: devicekit-disks

Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala via live cd
smooth installation
received an error message informing me of a crash.
it is possible that the error happened before the installation started.
it may have happened because of a user located at ip addresss 127.0.0.1 completely took over my computer necessitating a new installation.

I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

 Thank you for the update. Since this crash has been reported, I've upgraded the bios to A07. Is it possible that the crash happened because of an extremely old bios?
