Bug Description

My wacom intuos 2 tablet would not start working on resume.

I could get it to start by using modprobe to remove, then re-insert the wacom module.

Following advice in bug 399520 I could fix this by creating a file /etc/pm/config.d/50wacom containing
SUSPEND_MODULES="wacom"

I'm creating this bug as I still have this problem without the above patch, but the original reporter does not.

Also isn't the policy to mark newer bug reports as duplicates of bugs that were reported earlier?

Shouldn't this bug report be the duplicate of bug 399520, not the other way around?

bug 399520 was incomplete. The orginal reporter was no longer affected, so couldn't provide the requested information. It was easier for me to start a new bug. Doesn't make much sense, but that's how the powers that be wanted it.

What powers?

>please mark the bug report 'Fix Released' or 'Invalid' as appropriate

I see no mention of marking bug 399520 as duplicate of newer - bug 581052.

Suspend works for me too now in Maverick.

zeimusu -- as an original bug reported can you test suspend in Maverick and if it works mark the bug as "Fix Released"?
