Bug Description

Unhandled exception at 0x772270af in bzr.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0xe19a3ddb.

Bazaar doesnt appear to have provided a traceback so I am providing what was available in visual c++.

Maybe similar to 199527, but difficult to say for certain. I did have uncommitted changes, and was pressing refresh to see which files need commits. The stack trace below does not have symbols but perhaps a sleuth will find this information to be useful. I obtained this stack trace form visual c++, but would be happy to use some python tools to get the stack trace next time once I know how to do that.

Here was my work flow prior to the crash:
o did a pull this morning to obtain sources from my home
o made some changes in the source
o pressed the refresh button

Thanks for your efforts and hope that you find this information to be useful,

Jeff

Both are installed, but the crash definably occurred when pressing the reset button on the Bazaar Explorer.

Thanks for your help,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the bug report. Was this a once-off problem or does it happen frequently for you?

Hi Ian,

Sorry about the delay responding. The Bazaar Explorer does crash periodically when I use it, and I have seen this particular variety (where there is no python stack trace) multiple times. The occurrence rate was probably something like daily, or maybe every 3rd day, when I was using Bazaar more frequently. I _have_ seen other crash variants. At least some of those appeared to have signatures matching existing bug entries. I will try to keep after this better in the future.
