I am having trouble trying to upgrade my system, it may be related to this I don't know. Effectively I get regular crashes with firefox but generally don't have to reboot the system. I was trying to report the update/upgrade difficulty.

When I try to upgrade I get authentication error.

After reading that please file a new bug report using this command in a terminal:
ubuntu-bug firefox
That should collect your system info as well as extensions that you have installed.

Tried the command but it comes back you need to specify a package or a
PID
