rhythmbox can't detect my Samsung YP-F2 mp3 player

I got a Samsung YP-F2 mp3 player from my wife.
One day I tried to sync music files with rhythmbox, but it failed to detect my mp3 player, nothing happened.
I mean there is no device found on the left side in rhythmbox with Samsung YP-F2 mp3 player plugged in.
But I can see it in Nautilus, as a mass storage.
Though I can copy music files to it, I still wish to use sync funtion, like I use for IPod.
After installing mtptools, I run mtp-detect, it says No raw devices found. I don't know why.

Ubuntu version 10.04 fresh installed.
kernel version: 2.6.32-22-generic
rhythmbox version:0.12.8
libmtp version: 1.0.2-1ubuntu1

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of Rhythmbox is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid that I can't test that for you, as there's no ubuntu in my pc
now. In addition to that, I am busy doing something lately, so I can't play
linux more
just for fun like before. Hope you guys keep working with ubntu. Good luck.
