Bug Description

I don't think this bug has anything to do with a specific package, but Ubuntu in general with how it detects which wireless driver to use.

My wireless adapter is a Rosewill RNX-EasyN1 with a Ralink 2870STA chipset and uses driver rt2870sta. Every time I install Ubuntu, I have to rmmod the wireless module 'rt2800usb' and modprobe 'rt2870sta'. I hope to have this papercut fixed by setting the default driver for wireless cards with 2870sta chipsets, but I'm not sure how exactly Ubuntu goes about doing this.

Please comment if you have another card with the same chipset that uses this driver. The Rosewill is not the only one.
