Binary package hint: update-manager

Error message during update :
W:Failed to fetch http://lk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/lucid/universe/binary-i386/Packages.gz Sub-process gzip returned an error code (1)
, E:Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Hi, thank you for taking your time to report this bug, do you still have this issue? As this sounds more like a server error, did you try a different mirror?

I was able to resume the update though I could not complete it due to lack of time. So it does seem to have been a server error. Thanks.
