Bug Description

I upgraded from karmic to lucid and now can no longer synchronize files stored in UbuntuOne folder on my hard drive. When I open the applet and click Connect, it says "synchronizing" for a few minutes but at the end no files are uploaded. The process worked fine while using karmic just few days ago.

After clicking 'Connect' does the button switch to 'Disconnect'? After clicking Connect could you give it a few minutes and then run the following command in a Terminal
u1sdtool -s
The sync speed has been slow since the upgrade. The team is working to fix this. If the client is staying connected you might let it sit for awhile and see what happens.
Attaching the logs to this bug report will help in determining if this is a slow sync or no sync. You can do this using the 'Add Attachment or Patch' button at the bottom of the page. Just zip your $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder and attach the zip here. You can zip the folder by right-clicking on it and selecting compress.

After you attach the logs you can change the 'Status' of your bug back to 'New'. The status of a bug report can be modified by clicking on the current status in the yellow line, which will reveal a sub menu. You can then set a new status in the drop down box.

thank you,

Hello,
just zipped the folder you requested. I'm adding it to the bug report.
After clicking the Connect button it does switch to disconnect. Letting
it working for an hour or more, last evening it uploaded a few files but
it does not update the status bar in the applet. Now, it does not even
connect.
If I run u1tool -s it gives back the following lines:
State: WAITING
    connection: With User With Network
description: waiting before try connecting again
    is_connected: False
    is_error: False
    is_online: False
    queues: WORKING_ON_BOTH

Thanks a lot,
dani119

Hello dani119. You have a connection issue on your side, or the servers were temporarily down when you tried to connect:

2010-05-08 13:42:07,439 - ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.ActionQueue - INFO - Connection started to host fs-1.one.ubuntu.com, port 443.
2010-05-08 13:42:07,601 - ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.ActionQueue - INFO - Connection failed: Connection was refused by other side: 111: Connection refused.

Maybe you're behind a proxy? Maybe you still need to configure something on your Lucid's network?

Servers are working ok now, so please try again and tell us if it's all ok or you still have connection issues.

Thank you!
