Please update VTK to version 5.4.2 or 5.6.0

VTK 5.4.2 is available on the following PPAs:
https://launchpad.net/~intuitivenipple/+archive/ppa
https://launchpad.net/~cae-team/+archive/ppa (based on the package from the above PPA)

It would be nice if VTK could be at least at version 5.4 in Ubuntu 10.10.

VTK 5.6.0 has been released upstream: http://www.vtk.org/VTK/resources/software.html
There is already a VTK 5.4 package available on Debian sid: http://packages.debian.org/de/source/sid/vtk

It's blocking one of my sync. I'll have a look (it seems that a sync is possible, but I'll upload it to my ppa, and check rdepends)
