Bug Description

Clementine is an absolutely wonderful player that has recently appeared on the scene, filling that classic amarok (1.4) hole in all our hearts that we've had to struggle with for so long. It's an absolute joy to use, and is being very actively and competently worked on as we speak (version .3 should be out in the next week or so, svn builds are leaps and bounds ahead of the .2 version). Is there any chance we can get support for this player?

And yes, I'm biased... I had a long-standing love affair with classic amarok, and I've been bug testing Clementine ever since I found out about it. It really is that good, though.

Jordi just merged this to the trunk and I think latest version in PPA will
have it

Hm. I just downloaded from the most recent https://code.launchpad.net/~guitarboy000/covergloobus/trunk which also has a clementine.py file in its code, but neither it nor the guasyadeque player are showing up in the config window. Do I need to get the files specifically from the branch you mentioned?

Fisrt thank you for your great job!
I got CoverGloobus 1.6 version from PPA but Clementine doesn't not show in the player list.
On the PPA project page it says CoverGloobus supports Clementine.
Could you please enlighten me?
Thanks, again!

simple, you have the wrong PPA
this one is one to use

<https://launchpad.net/~gloobus-dev/+archive/covergloobus>latest version is
1.7-4

Well I seem to have the right PPA since I checked the version in synaptic and it says 1.7-4.
That's the about window in CoverGloobus that is not up-to-date (1.6)...
But still with this 1.7-4 version, I can't select Clementine as the audio player.

doh :D
probably because of my previous error reported in this thread, those changes
are not in PPA yet
