kde log out causes system crash

I experienced from this thread that the crash when logging out doesn't happen when using gdm.

This is probably a bug in Ubuntu, which is a different project from Lucid, a prototype for an editor. Are you having trouble reporting the bug under the appropriate distribution or project?

test if it still occurs on Lucid?

I confirm this happened on Lucid Kubuntu with KDM, now I switched to GDM and I can log out and shut down.

apport-collect 575298 command didn't change anything in the bug report.

Well I have news.
I switched back to KDM and successfully logged out from KDE.
