Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg
I've got a wide-screen monitor which supports 1680x1050.
However, when I start up the system, it displays a 1360x768 resolution on VGA, even though I have the following in my xorg.conf:
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Monitor "Configured Monitor"
Device "Configured Video Device"
SubSection "Display"
EndSection
It works fine in DVI.
It works fine both with VGA and DVI when fglrx is on
It used to work (on both VGA and DVI, even without fglrx) in 9.04
# lspci | fgrep VGA
