Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

Release: Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid
Compiz version: 1:0.8.4-0ubuntu15

When minimizing programs to the tray with compiz enabled, the windows are moved down a bit every time they're restored, until they eventually hit the bottom of the screen. Programs that showed this behaviour so far:

XChat
SMPlayer (with tray icon enabled)
JDownloader (external source)

The preferences of the Compiz "Place Windows" plugin have no effect on this, it even happens with the plugin disabled. No problems at all with Metacity.

Expected behaviour: Windows should be restored at the same position they were minimized at.
