ajax refesh doesn't work in IE8

The ajax refesh doesn't work in IE8, so the update posts won't appear, only when I hit F5.
I see a javascript error.
But this function does work in Firefox.

Well, I think that it's because I'm using DOM directly through Javascript.
All the browsers can handle it except IE, which it's CRAP. xD

Jisko 3.0 won't be released until this is fixed.

I think that the solution could be handling DOM through jQuery, which should
have more compatibility between browsers.
