Test case1:
I am chatting with some one in #ubuntu and I then move to #ubuntu-bugs and minimize xchat. messaging menu will turn green when someone in #ubuntu sends me a message.

Test case2:
I am chatting in #ubuntu and I minimize xchat and someone in #ubuntu sends me a message messaging menu wont notify me.
