No sound from headphone jack but following code fixes the problem:

</code>

Subsystem ID from my /proc/asound/card0/codec#0 is:

Address: 0
Function Id: 0x1
Vendor Id: 0x14f15066
Subsystem Id: 0x17aa21b4

And my lspci says:

andrew@fuji:~$ lspci
...
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03)
...

4 years for an update? Wow. Im sorry but I don't have anything else to offer for this bug report. I have not used Ubuntu for the last 3 years, so for me, it's not relevant anymore. If no-one else expresses interest then I suppose it can be closed.
