in firefoxtwitter wont tweet, facebook won't facebook

i can log into twitter slowly it chunters into twitter then if i go off and do something like **shock **horror try and follow someone it won't.

it won't stream the latest updates from friends on facebook, and won't play tv programmes (well it will but then it suddenly cuts out and says it's finished after 10 mins when the programme is 1 hour long) it's not fair... :( makes me sad that i have to use multipul browsers to do one job

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.

You can start the profile manager with the following command:
firefox -ProfileManager

When you run 'firefox -ProfileManager' in a terminal, you should get a window showing a list of your profiles. Select to create a new one, name it something like 'test', make sure it is selected, then click 'Start Firefox'.
