Hi,

It appears that ~ankur-kkhurana 's 2010-05-14 upload of sugar-toolkit-0.88 caused this problem. This does not occur under the version of sugar-emulator in the Ubuntu Lucid repositories.

The buildlog at http://launchpadlibrarian.net/48462466/buildlog_ubuntu-lucid-amd64.sugar-toolkit-0.88_0.88.1_FULLYBUILT.txt.gz lists only the basic files installed in all Debian packages, and none of the files specific to this package.

See http://packages.debian.org/sid/amd64/python-sugar-toolkit-0.88/filelist for comparison.

Thanks,
Luke Faraone

I solved this problem by removing the sugar-toolkit from the PPA. (via https://edge.launchpad.net/~sugarteam/+archive/ppa/+delete-packages )

~dfarning ACK'd the removal. The sugar-tookit package in Lucid has no problems and should work with our version.

To resolve the problem on current systems, you will manually have to downgrade the sugar-toolkit package to the latest version released in Ubuntu:
    sudo apt-get install sugar-toolkit=0.88.0-1
