computer will access network through ethernet, but will not recognize USB connection to Cisco Linksys Wireless a/g USB network adaptor. the usb connection works great with 9.10 but version 10.04 will not recognize the usb connection.

Thanks for reporting this to Ubuntu. This does not appear to be a Firefox issue, so I'm removing Firefox from the report.
Can you let us know if your computer has any trouble detecting other electronics that connect via USB?
