Bug Description
Binary package hint: netgo
Please remove both source and binary packages for netgo from Ubuntu for the following reasons:
- The software has not seen an update in 5 years
- It depends on the obsolete Qt3/KDE3 libraries
- It does not ship a menu entry
- By default it uses "su" for authentication when run on the console (and fails due to this)
- Using it broke my DHCP until I used Network Manager to reconnect.
- This has been superseded by Qt4/KDE4 tools such as the KDE NetworkManager GUIs.
- Very low popcon score, too. (Only 25 votes)
