Indicator icon reports new mail, when no new mail is present.

Similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/376688 , although that's marked fixed, and considering the re-write, it's probably a new bug.

On 0.10-1~ppa1, new mail causes the green indicator. Reading that mail in the web browser appears to remove the message from the messaging menu, but does not remove the green mark.

does it go away if you click on Google Mail?

Working on it. It seem to occur with mail in a non-inbox label.
Opening the Inbox or clicking on "Google Mail" seems to clear it, but
clicking on the label itself doesn't... i think.

I can reproduce this bug consistently. If I have 0 messages in my inbox and more than 0 messages in any label, I click on the label to go to the gmail site. If I mark the messages as read, the label & message count disappear from gm-notify, but the icon stays green. To make the green icon go away I must click on the inbox link in gm-notify.
