Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

In the German translation of Nautilus it shows me in the sidebar the translation "Arbeitsfläche", but the folder is named "Desktop". In the file-open-dialog Desktop is used for both (see attached Screenshots).

That could be confusing for new users, so please make it consistent and use "Desktop" everywhere.

Maybe that's also something for "One Hundred Paper Cuts"?

Yes, and yes.
It's a lucid installation, but in karmic it's also the same (just checked it). Also tried it in the guest session and there was the issue also.

ok, it's likely a german translation issue then since it's not happening in french and the directory is meant to be translated on disk too

affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) → language-pack-gnome-de (Ubuntu)
