No service is launched when clicking menu icon

Bug Description

Binary package hint: desktop-webmail

When clicking on the Desktop Webmail icon I get to choose a webmail service but nothing else happens.

Steps to repeat:

 1) apt-get installed from terminal
 2) clicked Desktop Webmail icon
 3) I get the chose service box. I choose gmail and press the OK button
 4) nothing happens.

  * drop patches applied upstream
    - delete debian/patches/consistent-naming.patch
  * ship /etc/desktop-webmail config directory that can be used to
    add system wide webmailers.ini etc.
