We don't keep separate bug reports of the same bug for each release. The bug is first solved in the current development release (currently 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)), depending on the severity of the bug it may after that be back ported to older releases but that can be tracked in a single bug report.

If you would like to report the same bug for a stable release of Ubuntu you use the "nominate for release" link on the original report. But a fix for a stable release will not be considered until it is fixed in the current development release.

See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates for a description of the whole process.

This bug is marked as a duplicate of bug #562793, all discussion of the problem and future information should be tracked there.

The next step you need to do is to run 'apport-collect 473478' from a terminal on Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid), to attach information to that report which is needed to further debug the problem.
