Scenario: Profile is in .thunderbird. First run works fine, but Thunderbird creates files in folder .mozilla-
Workaround: Once your working profile is in .thunderbird, comment or "echo" this line:
mv $HOMEDIR/$CURRENT $HOMEDIR/
