Bug Description

I have "Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx - released in April 2010", on my desktop. I have set my screen to 1280*1024 resolution. When I was trying to change screensaver from default 'Blank' to some other 'theme', my system crashed. Now after that, system crashes, whenever I try to open the screensaver option from "system -> preferences "menu.

I am having the same problem and it is a nasty crash too. I have a total system freeze and cannot ping or ssh into the machine after I try and change the screensaver. This is a P4 2.4ghz system with intel graphics.
