"Various artists" entry can show up in the collections pane twice

Bug Description
If there is an album who's albumartist tag is set to 'Various Artists', it shows up in a separate Artist entry on the Collections panel alongside the 'Various Artists' entry that Exaile creates for compilation albums. It would be nice if they were merged.
The workaround is to remove the albumartist tag on the offending albums and rely on Exaile's automatic compilation detection.

There is a situation in which one artist may appear several times under one alphabet letter due to this bug.
For example, I have two VA movie soundtrack releases in my collection by Thomas Newman. One of them has a track by Fred Astaire, and the other has a track by Gene Austin.
Both of these tracks have 'Artistsort' and 'Albumartistsort' tags set to "Newman, Thomas". But they still make "Thomas Newman" entry with all the releases appear twice under letter "A".
