Text should flow naturally around images

Bug Description

In the beta, images often occupy their own pages (such as on page 13), splitting sentences and disrupting the flow of text. The text should be broken by at least an end of sentence before an image, and the image should be in the midst of the text if there is room (such as on page 15).

On a larger scope (larger than this bug), the image layout and positioning just needs a little work.

Manual version: Beta Revision 729
Location: ch. 1 pg. 13, 16, 19, 22.
               ch. 2 pg. 26, 33.
               ch. 3 pg. 53, 95, 97.
               ch. 8 pg. 142
Bug Type: formatting

Yes, it looks a bit unnatural when you use a singe page layout. In my
opinion it's perfectly fine to keep the current image layout if the
pages are displayed in a two page layout when you open the PDF, but
might it on the other hand reduce readability?
(Is this even an option you can set in the PDF? I'm sure I've seen it.)

In any case, I agree that the image placement is a bit inconsistent at
certain places. Page 22 is a good example of this.

I also agree with this. Images look a little bit unprofessional when
compared with the overall organizated elegance of the manual. They also look
a way too "squary". Why not to add something like a slight drop-shadow?
Apple has drop-shadows everywhere and man, they look really sleek!

Hey guys,

I know that Kevin (our resident LaTeX guru) is aware of some of the issues
around image positioning etc and will no doubt be looking into these between
now and release date. Thanks for reporting this though, and stay tuned as
I'm sure there will be some last-minute shuffling that occurs.
