Hi Chih Ho,

Thanks for testing translations. I'm assigning the bug to the Ubuntu Italian translators to have a look at.

Hi,

just to have an idea, is this on an installed system with Italian language packs installed or in a live session?

I believe the Italian desktop is pretty much translated on a new installation. I think the problem might be that the test was done with an English installation in which the locale was then changed to Spanish.

This should also work, but I believe due to bug 553162 parts of the desktop are shown in English.

Milo and David, I gave it a try again and here is my latest finding:
1. Applications->Internet -> "Client social network Gwibber"
2. Applications->"Ubuntu Software Center"
3. System->Preferences->"Ubuntu One" <- mouse over tip is not translated

Screen shots are included for your reference. Thanks.

That is an Italian "translation": words are not really Italian, but
how the sentence is constructed is. We decided to use "social network"
'cause it is a very common used phrase, and the majority of the people
will understand what it is.

For this one we decided to maintain the English brand name.

Thanks for the screenshot. That string has been translated on 6th
April, so it should take a little white before we can see it installed
in the system.

Thanks.
