Bug Description
Binary package hint: mplayer
When playing a video of a sequence of png images, the colorspace is incorrectly converted, resulting in incorrect colors.
command:
mplayer mf://*.png
mplayer mf://*.png -mf type=png -vf scale,format=
and everything else I tried.
the same problems are present in mencoder.
This is fixed in the current snapshot of mplayer (2010-02-10)

Official support for Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" has ended. Is this problem still occurring on Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail"?
