Bug Description

Binary package hint: mouseemu

Installed Mar27 Ubuntu lucid-dvd-i386 on Toshiba Satellite L355 Seagate FreeAgent USB hard drive. Added mouseemu_0.16-0ubuntu5_i386.deb package from the DVD. Keyboard stopped working. Uninstalled mouseemu and keyboard started working. Touchpad worked fine. Ubuntu 9.10 with mouseemu_0.16-0ubuntu4_i386.deb package and Ubuntu 9.04 with mouseemu_0.16-0ubuntu3_i386.deb package installed with no keyboard problems. Tried lucid in VirtualBox virtual machine, had the same problem.

I can confirm this, not on the same hardware, but mouseemu locking up keyboadr in xorg. I think Debian has a fix, which I am about to investigate.
