kde 4.4.1 kickoff computer tab doesnt show system settings

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

I'm using kubuntu 9.10 and when i updated the kde 4.3.5 from backports to kde 4.4.1 the computer tab in kickoff doesnt show anymore the system settings and kpackagekit, only shows run command.

i'm using again kde 4.3.5...

PPA updates are not supported to this extent. Most likely the way those menu entry get injected changed in lucid and now you experience incompability since the PPA packages are based off what is available in lucid.

thanks for the response, but this problem also accurs in lucid beta 1 and
daily build's....

will an update fix this?
