I have a mistake with Mobifone provider. The APN must be: m-wap (not v-wap). I
have just tested it yesterday because i hadn't had 3G phone before. I'm very
sorry about the mistake.
There are 6 day left for the final Ubuntu 10.04 release. I hope the FinalFreeeze team consider this case.
I'm sure about configuration of 3 bigest broadband provider in Viet Nam: Mobifone, Vinaphone, Viettel. I don't use other provider. If someone tests them, please confirm it.

I confirm that Trúc patch works, I hope this will be fixed in lucid final as it affects more than 20% of mobile users in Viet Nam and isn't too instrusive, we only need to changed from 'v-wap' to 'm-wap'.

I think it doesn't have any chances since the lastest release of this package for lucid (except the comment for S-Fone in serviceproviders.xml).
I'll ask other people who is using this service to test about the phone number dialed.

But the importance is the configuration for mobifone using m-wap as APN.

Could you confirm that: if a ISP provide many plans and using different APN, so I just need to append another apn value to a provider.

I'll open another bug on Gnome when collecting enough data.

Thanks

Marking the m-b-p-i task as Fix Released as well.

If you find that this is still requiring fixes (or that it needs an update in previous releases as a Stable Release Update), please file a new bug. Thanks!
