Bug Description

Binary package hint: chromium-browser

This person makes a theme that matches the default desktop for Lucid: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/elnmibmpefhmfgphdphdncoogpbfmlbp

We should investigate shipping these themes by default in Ubuntu's chromium-browser.

Talked to fta, he says that upstrea, doesn't currently have system level support for extensions or themes, but it's a future goal.

Changed in chromium-browser (Ubuntu):
status: New → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Wishlist

This is now possible in trunk.
See http://src.chromium.org/svn/trunk/src/chrome/installer/util/master_preferences.h
(look for extensions preference block)

I will experiment with this system preference location as part of bug 570812
