Bug Description

Video "blinks" (flash to black) at the beginning of titles, both with and without transitions, both in the preview and in the exported video.
If the svg is exported to png, it becomes a white flash.
If two or more titles are consecutive, only the first one "blinks".
OpenShot 1.1.1 (still present in 1.1.2), Ubuntu 9.10, installed via PPA.

Can you please create the simplest example project you can think of, and
then post both the images you use, and the following file:
/home/YOURUSER/.openshot/sequence.mlt. Note, you will need to grab the
sequence.mlt file after you have hit the "Play" button, so it contains the
flashes. Then zip up those files, and attach it to this bug report. I
should be able to reproduce the problem with that info... and hopefully find
a fix.

Thanks!

In the attachment you can find a modified version of my project (I left out the audio track and replaced the video with a still image), because I found it difficult to replicate the bug in a new project.
The bug disappear if I put odd titles on a track and even titles on a track below. That's what I did in the end to deliver a correct video.
I found out that if you delete the second title (the first at which the blink occurs), the blink disappears also in the following titles (at least some), like some kind of "chain reaction".
I managed to obtain what I wanted, so no big deal, but I had to use a method that felt like a workaround, and I would like to know if this is actually the correct method (avoiding to put consecutive titles on the same track).
Sorry for the long explanation, and thanks so much in advance!

I've just created my first animation using a series of images and a sound track. I'm using a 2 second fade in and fade out for each image. Some of the transitions work as expected. In the others the a white flash appears and then starts the fade in to the new image.

@mark herringer - this sounds like bug #520941 (these two bugs may be the same thing, not totally sure)
