console-setup-udeb crashed in postinst with update-rc.d not found

Binary package hint: console-setup

hi,

i rebuild without any changes the debian-installer-20081029ubuntu90 which includes console-setup-1.34ubuntu11.
the console-setup-udeb.postinst script now crashed with update-rc.d command not found in line 141.

Whoops! Lucky we didn't rebuild debian-installer for beta-1 after that change. I'll make sure this is fixed for beta-2. Thanks!

This bug was fixed in the package console-setup - 1.34ubuntu12

console-setup (1.34ubuntu12) lucid; urgency=low

  * console-setup-tty: Only call setfont once, for both font and ACM.
  * Don't try to call update-rc.d if it doesn't exist, such as in d-i
    (LP: #540835).
  * Don't gzip font or ACM files in /etc/console-setup/. The space saving
    is negligible, and it's more efficient not to need to uncompress them at
    boot time.
