Timevault does not work in Lucid, python2.6

Lucid does not have python2.5, only python2.6, therefore it does not work correctly even if installation is forced.

I had same problem; was working under 9.04 Karmic; now under 10.04 Lucid fails (error below) despite forcing install of python2.5 from older Ubuntu5.

~$ /usr/bin/timevault-notifier &

Same issue here.

Did:
apt-get install python-gobject

It was already installed. Don't know what else to do.

Installing it at all was a pain because I had to use python2.5_2.5.2_2ubuntu5, along with all its dependencies, to install the required python-dev2.5_2.5.2ubuntu5. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Hi same problem here lucid does not have python2.5, only python2.6.Can i add the python2.5 or what?I really don't want to add all the dependencies.So what would be a good fix for this i really like the software a lot better then flyback or back in time.
