Bug Description
affects /products/malone
From what mpt said, in another Malone bug report:
I think every search form should have an "Advanced" button that displays
the advanced form, with the current values from the simple form (if any)
filled in. That way if you're halfway through entering a search and you
realize you need to use some advanced options (or you can't remember
whether to type "assignee:bradb" or "assigned:bradb" into the simple
form), you can jump to the advanced form without losing what you've
already typed.
To begin with this can be a submit button that goes to a separate page,
and eventually this can be supplemented with JavaScript disclosure.
My two cents to add:
There are many URLs affected by this and naming them all here would
be tedious. The idea though is that this fix should happen in one
macro or set of macros and thus automatically function more usefully
in all the contexts that use those macros (person bug searches,
distro bug searches, product bug searches, etc.)

I think we have a regression here because clicking on the advanced search doesn't keep the simple search string.
