Binary package hint: mscore

Cross posting the following bug. Since I'm on Windows I can't confirm the bug personally but another user in the same thread says it still applies in 0.9.6 beta 2.

"I'm not sure whether this has been reported.
MS V0.9.5 Rev1698 on Ubuntu 8.10 64bit.
* Start MS with empty canvas, then Open exist score (from both menu and toolbar item), the open dialogue failed to populate.
* Cancel the corrupted dialogue, open one score from "Open Recent >" menu item is ok, after that the Open command will work properly."

I can't reproduce this on my 9.10 system nor my 10.04 beta system.

Well, considering you'll have used much more recent versions of all the software involved, I'm not really surprised. I'll mark the bug as invalid.

Hi,
I had the 0.9.6 and had the problem (no file listed in the dialogbox "File>Open...").
I just update to the 1.0 and still have the problem.
I'm on Ubuntu 10.10 (gnome).
From the file manager (Nautilus), a double click on a .msc file open the program and the file normally.

Remarque: The screenshot (http://www.musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/Load%20Score.png) doesn't look as what I have. The dialogbox is "normal" but it's just the part where the files would be listed that stay empty.
