debian-science (0.9ubuntu1) lucid; urgency=low

* Merge from Debian Squeeze (LP: #537033) remaining changes:
    - Depend on libvtk5.2 (library transition)
    - Depend on libboost1.40-dev (library transition)
    - Depend on libcv4 (library transition)
    - Drop gcx (being removed due to build-dep on libgtk1.2-dev)
    - Unbuildable and unsupportable in Lucid due to Python 2.5 beind dropped

  * Drop gnudatalanguage from the tasks dataacquisition, meteorology,
    numericalcomputation and viewing:
    - Unbuildable and unsupportable in Lucid see lp 537013

  * Regenerated debian/control and debian-science-tasks.desc

Yes it is worth merging that. But to get that merged I'll need to
merge blends source package as well.

Hi,

Maverick has libvtk5.4 and boost1.42, so I think that the dependencies should be updated to the latest values.

For boost, you could even depend on libbost-dev (without version) as boost-default will always points to the current version. And you could forward this change to Debian.
