Bug Description

Binary package hint: mediatomb-common

I can't install mediatomb, because it relies on mediatomb-common which in turn relies on the non-existent libmozjs0d (not in the Lucid repos)

libmozjs0d was part of xulrunner 1.8.1.16+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 which existed until karmic and doesn't exist in lucid anymore.

Changed in mediatomb (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed

As a quick workaround, it is possible to install the package from Karmic: http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/libmozjs0d
If you upgrade from Karmic with Media Tomb already installed, the bug doesn't affect media tomb as the package is kept.

Changed in mediatomb (Ubuntu Lucid):
status: Confirmed → Triaged
importance: Undecided → High
milestone: none → ubuntu-10.04-beta-2

Probably wasn't published on all mirrors yet, try again. Attempting to install it doesn't give any error anymore with the fixed version here.

This bug is a deal breaker for me, forcing me to go back to Karmic on my Media Server.

The upgrade installed the mediatomb version build without spidermonkey support which has stuffed all the js scripts I use for the importing of my shows and MP3s.

MediaTomb without js support isn't worth the benefits of Lucid - downgrading.

@MikeN
You might want to subscribe to bug 568275. We're going to try to reenable the support in an SRU.
