Binary package hint: firefox
Firefox 3.6, Ubuntu Lucid
1. In Ubuntu Software Center 1.1.16 or later, navigate to "Get Software" > "Internet".
2. Scroll through the alphabetical list to where Firefox should be.
3. Navigate to the "Web Browsers" subsection.
What you see:
2. Firefox isn't there.
3. Firefox isn't there, though 11 other Web browsers are.
To fix this:
2. Add the "Internet" category to Firefox's .desktop file.
3. Add the "WebBrowser" category to Firefox's .desktop file.
