Key error is:
libvirtError: internal error no supported architecture for os type 'hvm'

Are you sure you have a functional libvirt on that machine ? (does it have VT extensions enabled ?)

<al-maisan> hello ttx, re. bug #530550: how would I figure out whether libvirt has the VT extensions enabled?
<ttx> al-maisan: well, it's mostly about your CPU/BIOS supporting those
<al-maisan> just a sec
<al-maisan> ttx: is this the "egrep '(vmx|svm)' --color=always /proc/cpuinfo" test?
<ttx> there is a kvm-ok script that runs various checks
<al-maisan> ttx: aha
<al-maisan> $ kvm-ok
<al-maisan> INFO: Your CPU supports KVM extensions
<al-maisan> INFO: /dev/kvm exists
<al-maisan> KVM acceleration can be used
<ttx> al-maisan: sounds good, looks like something else is blocking

I actually think this is an oddity in libvirt. I've seen something like this where I had to run "virsh capabilities" before virsh would realise that I could actually run any kvm guests. I haven't seen this problem for a while though. Are you still experiencing this bug?
