Hi Timofey,

All of the headings or subtext on that page suggest that the installer crashes, ubiquity isn't crashing for me, it's just featuring the metacity buttons and isn't full screen.

Which logs specifically would you like me to include?

Cheers

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and help to make Ubuntu better. This issue is relevant to your screen size, as it's not possible to fit all infos in the preselected size, the scroll bar are present as expected.
And no, the installer shouldn't be in fullscreen as user still want to discover their system during this time. If it's not the case, there is the "installer mode" which has only ubiquity on it.

Thus, I'm marking this bug as invalid. Fell free to reopen it if you feel that's something is unusable with the current behavior.

And if this is in installer mode?

If this is in installer mode, please reassign the bug to ubiquity (not sure why guigui14100 changed the package) stating that in your opinion, ubiquity should be in fullscreen mode in installer mode to not have to use the scrollbars on small screen size.

So, feel free to change the package targeted back to ubiquity if it's the case.

This is an issue with the installer,

Can duplicate easily by going:

Boot off cd > Install Ubuntu

This is by design. We no longer fullscreen the window to introduce the user to the desktop background and window controls. There was a bug earlier in the cycle whereby the minimize button was showing, but that should be fixed in the latest daily-live CDs (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live).
