Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Can you please try to upgrade to 2.29.5-0ubuntu2 which is the last version in lucid? You may suffer from a missing dependency on xulrunner (runtime).

I am upgraded to Yelp version 2.29.5-0ubuntu2.
I tried twice "System/About Ubuntu" which invokes Yelp and IT WORKS FINE. When
I close the window no crush anymore.
I rather do not touch the status of the bug, Please do what it should be
done, I am not so aware if it should be accompanied with a final report or
whatever.
Thank you very much

Thanks for confirming. So let's blame the missing xulrunner then.

I'm not longer noticing this crash after update yelp (2.29.5-0ubuntu1) to 2.29.5-0ubuntu2. Seems fixed.

If anyone else is still having a crash with yelp 2.29.5-0ubuntu2 , kindly report back.

I'm afraid I'm still experiencing the problem. I'm also filling out an
additional (possibly related?) bug report - when I went to check the
version of yelp at the Ubuntu Software Centre (btw yelp is definitely
2.29.5-0ubuntu2 on my system), USC crashed unexpectedly! Oh well...
there's always something to be done...
